More Things I Made

Lane Sweaney is a versatile graphic designer with a unique affinity for hands-on craftsmanship. His artistic endeavors seamlessly meld physical craftsmanship and digital design to produce works that are not only visually compelling but also functional. Lane's work knows no bounds, and he thrives on exploring a diverse array of concepts and ideas, never confining his work to a singular theme or subject. His earliest memories are from growing up in the coastal town of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, where he was surrounded by the surf/beach culture of the area. He now lives in Daytona, Florida upon returning from overseas studies and graduation from East Carolina University with a BFA in Graphic Design. His fondness for physical craftsmanship can be traced back to his early fascination with auto-mechanics and his enduring youthful creativity. Lane's work has been shown in Undergraduate Exhibits and various spaces within the East Carolina University community. With a commitment to pushing the boundaries of graphic design, he seeks to redefine the role of graphic designers within the realm of fine art, continuing to challenge preconceived notions of their place and potential in the creative world.
